Summer Energising Team-Building

Our team was excited to take on a new project from Intant to organise and run a summer team building event in a family friendly atmosphere for their employees and their children.

Challenge

It was important to create a script that combined the family values of the guests with the values of the company, to offer activities for children and adults and to develop a programme that would be interesting for all age groups.

Employees’ children were invited to the team-building event to give them the opportunity to strengthen their family ties and at the same time help colleagues get to know each other in an informal atmosphere. The venue had to accommodate 250 guests and ensure the safety of the children.

Approach

We organised a company event in the style of a “family day” with a rich programme. To make this summer day unforgettable for everyone, we wanted the activities to be exciting and “energising”.

The event included games, creative workshops and competitions for children and adults. The chosen location offered a spacious area that allowed us to accommodate all the planned activities. Each child wore a bracelet with their parents’ phone number for safety.

We ran a themed quest where participants completed tasks to earn balls of yarn – a symbol of energy – to fill “batteries” made for the quest. The game lifted the spirits and strengthened the team before sports relays, games and a flash mob involving the weaving of a web.

In the creative zone, workshops were held: drumming, decorating eco-bags, painting with natural coloured stones, making coffee toys. We also took care of our youngest guests, offering them children’s activities: face painting, chemistry show, animators in the image of favourite children’s characters, a jewellery making workshop, painting a picture on canvas with their parents.

At the end of the day, there was a “woolen team building” activity, in which we had to form a large web out of balls of yarn – a game that symbolises the importance of bonds and mutual understanding in teamwork.

Results

The event was truly bright, warm and family friendly. Not only were Intant employees and their children charged up with summer energy, but they also learned to play drums and paint pictures together, demonstrated their athletic skills in relay races, and felt unity and team spirit as they completed quests. We created an atmosphere where everyone felt part of a single family, where interaction, cohesion and support are paramount.
